FAQs

How long before I see results?

With the application of certain herbal medicines and nutraceuticals you may see some reduction in your anxiety within days.

However the goal is to go beyond a band-aid, and to have you hopefully on minimum to no supplements or herbs in the long term.

What if I'm already on pharmaceutical medications?

I can safely support you while making sure there are no adverse interactions between your prescription medications and herbal medicine/ supplements.

If you prefer not to take any herbal medicines or nutraceuticals we can employ yoga therapy, breathing, lifestyle coaching, and dietary changes to start getting results.

Do you have experience helping people off their pharmaceutical medications?

Coming of pharmaceutical medicications must be done with the support and supervision of a practicing medical doctor or your psychiatrist.

Working as part of a wider medical team I can support you with the above mentioned tools to help you through the transition and beyond.

What kind of tools do you use to assess my anxiety?

This list is by no means exhaustive but covers some of the common assessment tools:

**MDA- Mood Disorder Assessment is a 15-20 minute assessment that looks for some of the common deficiencies in differnet neurotransmitters.

**Functional pathology- These are done through a specialist lab and can give us insights into some of the neurochemicals impacting your mood.

**Cortisol testing- very useful in long term anciety and stress.

**Comprehensive case history- In order to understand you, and how stress and anxiety is impacting you.

Who would benefit from this form of therapy?

This is not talk therapy. The goal of this therapy is change and learning new skills to directly improve your nervous system response so that you feel more at ease.

I'm struggling with physical health issues, and stress makes it worse, will this help?

We know chronic stress and high circulating cortisol levels can increase inflammation, pain and a host of other health conditions.

How do I book my sessions?

You need to book an initial 15 minute phone call first. You'll then be sent avaialble appointments to get started.

Where are the sessions conducted?

Online via secure Telehealth video conferencing.

Face to Face sessions are booked in the Potts Point clinic.

How much are the sessions?

Initial consulation (for brand new patients)- $160 Multiple treatment packages are available. Please ask about them on your complimentary call.

Can I claim on my private health cover?

You need to check with your private health cover.

I'm booking from another time zone?

The calendar will show availablities in your time zone, with all confirmation correspondance being in my time AEDT.

How many sessions will I need?

There's no standard answer to this question every client is different. It largely depends on you, how long have you had this problem? What results you're looking to acheive.

On average clients are with me for a minimum of 6 sessions, this is why I have multiple treatment package options for those who need more time.
